Early Life

Born in Poland, raised by a grandmother, shaped by resilience.

I was born in Poland and spent my early childhood there. When I was six years old, my parents left for the United States, and I was raised by my grandmother along with three of my siblings. That experience shaped me deeply. It taught me resilience, independence, responsibility, and the importance of family at a very young age.

Growing up in Poland also gave me an early appreciation for natural and holistic approaches to health. In our home, we often relied on simple remedies from nature — garlic, onion, honey, lemon, herbs, and other traditional methods when we were sick. That early exposure planted the seed for my lifelong interest in natural medicine, holistic health, and whole-person healing.

Those early experiences continue to influence the way I see health, family, leadership, and service today.

Professional Journey

A clinician committed to learning, growth, and helping others heal.

I am a speech-language pathologist with advanced training and specialization in feeding, swallowing, airway, myofunctional disorders, and whole-person care.

I earned my Associate in Applied Science from College of DuPage (2006), a Bachelor of Arts from Lewis University (2008), a Bachelor of Health Science from Governors State University (2011), and a Master of Health Science from Governors State University (2013).

I have completed more than 1,500 continuing education hours over my career and have received the ASHA Award for Continuing Education from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association every year from 2017 through 2023. I have been an ASHA member since 2014.

I am also a Certified Whole Life Coach, Certified Wolfe Non-Surgical Master Practitioner, and Certified Nutritional Coach.

I am the founder of Advanced Therapy & Wellness Center, recognized in 2025 as Best Speech Pathologist in Will County and named Top Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy Clinic of 2026 — honors that reflect the dedication and heart of the entire team.

Personal Life

Entrepreneur, mother, lifelong learner.

Outside of my clinical work, my husband and I own and run another business together. I love the challenge, growth, and responsibility that come with entrepreneurship — and the privilege of helping people grow professionally, personally, and in their confidence.

I love traveling, spending time with my children, dancing, trying new foods, and learning about the world. Time in nature restores me — especially the mountains and the beach.

Becoming an Educator

The teacher that has always been there.

Some part of me has always been drawn to communication and teaching. I studied communications for my first bachelor's degree, and at Lewis University I worked on the school newspaper. At one point, I imagined myself becoming a journalist.

Life took me in a different direction, but the desire to share knowledge never went away. Education has become a way to bring together my personal story, clinical knowledge, professional experiences, and the lessons I have learned through patients, mentors, family, faith, and leadership.
