With gratitude.

A starting point

Dr. Milton Geivelis

Dr. Geivelis was the starting point of my entire journey into airway, myofunctional therapy, and the need for collaborative care for the benefit of our patients. His influence opened the door to a field of work that has become one of the greatest passions of my life.

Mentors & pioneers

With deep gratitude to the many teachers, mentors, and pioneers whose work has influenced my thinking and clinical growth, including:

  • Dr. Kevin Boyd
  • Dr. George Rivera
  • Dr. Soroush Zaghi
  • Joy Moeller
  • Samantha Weaver
  • Hallie Bulkin
  • Michelle Emanuel
  • Dr. Richard Baxter
  • Robyn Merkel-Walsh

…among many others.

To my husband

His unwavering support at home with our boys made so much of this work possible. He carried responsibilities I could not always carry while I was away attending courses, traveling to conferences, working weekends, studying, and teaching. His support gave me the space to pursue this calling.

To my children

They have made sacrifices they may not fully understand yet. They gave up time, moments, and pieces of me so I could dedicate myself to this work. My hope is that one day they will understand that this mission and this journey were built not only out of passion for helping others, but also out of love for them and a desire to leave something meaningful behind.

Dedication

“To my husband and my children — with all my love and gratitude.”
